Pentair has a line of underwater pool and spa lights that they sell under the brand name Intellibrite 5g. Both of these lights have inside of them a part that they refer to as a color LED light engine. This part consists of both computer chips and led chips that control the LEDs and the color and shows that are projected out of the lights underwater. Over time these boards will eventually fail. When this occurs, consumers have two basic choices: 1 - Replace the board with a new one or 2 - Replace the entire light fixture.
Option 2 requires pulling out the entire light and installing a new one at significant cost in both time in money. Fortunately Pentair makes and sells a replacement board for the larger pool lights. Unfortunately Pentair dos not make nor sell a replacement board for the smaller spa size version. This leads to what I would describe as an untenable situation for most consumers.
Because of this situation, we have decided to make and manufacture aftermarket replacement boards for both the larger pool size fixture in addition to the smaller spa size fixture to server a market that seems quite limited. When taking on this project we decided to improve on the original technology. Buy this we mean we increased the number of colors and shows, and also increased the brightness and number of LED's on the board. We are currently marketing these on our website now.

We also offer a larger version of this board that is designed for the full size intellibrite fixtures. Our aftermarket version is significantly cheaper and also offers more colors and shows in addition to be much brighter with more LED's. That can be found at the link below:
Hopefully you will find the less expensive option a viable alternative for your needs. Keep in mind that since our aftermarket replacements have more colors and color shows, some controllers cannot reach all the colors. This also causes issues if you have some stock OEM lights and some with our upgraded aftermarket boards. This will cause situations where the lights become out of synchronization.
